Here we have a gorgeous Gibson SG Standard in stunning cherry red finish. This thing screams ANGUS! and Zappa if that's your bag :)... The guitar was made in 1996 and it has had a few knocks and bumps in it's 22 year existence but is in sound, sturdy shape and most importantly no breaks!
As pictured, it looks as if the top of the neck just before the headstock it was leant on a radiator as the nitro finish has melted and made a little blob which is a shame. There's various knocks on the bottom of the guitar and some oxidising of the nitro by the bottom strap button. The fret board has some minor recess where the AC/DC chords are played but nothing which stops it from playing well.
This said, the guitar is actually in ok condition for it's age and still look, plays, sounds and feels great!
All in all, a great example of an iconic guitar and definitely a lot more years of tone left in it!
It comes with the original tan case too which is the better looking case in my opinion!
